For the company, this transaction will “accelerate the next steps” in a strategy focused on global food, with convenience, health, and sustainability as its main pillars.
Sovena, part of the Nutrinveste Group, has acquired 100% of the share capital of Centazzi, a Portuguese company that owns the Salutem brand, dedicated to the healthy food market, with more than 500 products available across major retail distribution channels.
The value of the deal was not disclosed. However, in a statement, Sovena explained that the transaction, announced this Friday, “reinforces Sovena’s purpose — Feeding Futures — by accelerating the next steps in global food, guided by the key pillars of convenience, health, and sustainability,” while also providing “greater market reach for the Salutem brand.”
