Nutrinveste II Investimentos, part of the olive oil group behind brands such as Oliveira da Serra and Fula, has notified the Portuguese Competition Authority of its acquisition of Centazzi, a manufacturer and wholesaler of cereals and other products, and the owner of the Salutem brand.
According to a notice published on the competition regulator’s website, Nutrinveste II Investimentos submitted the notification on Thursday regarding the acquisition of exclusive control over Centazzi.
The company is engaged in the production, processing, and wholesale distribution of food products, including cereals, legumes, snacks, condiments, sweets, and teas. It owns the Salutem brand, which offers organic and wholegrain products.
